These diseases  can spread from person-to-person by direct contact,  water, foodborne illness, or aerosolization of infected particles in the environment and through insects (mosquitoes) and ticks.
In late 2019, the SARS-COV-2 pandemic posed a serious threat to human health and  social-economic development.
